What is massage therapy?
Massage therapy has been practiced in most Eastern and Western cultures throughout history, and was one of the earliest tools that people used to try to relieve pain, manage a health condition or enhance wellness.
It involves manipulating the soft tissues of the body.
Even if you don’t have a specific health issue, massage therapy can provide many benefits, such as:
● Anxiety
● Relaxation
● Aid in stress relief
● Reducing insomnia
● Increased circulation
● Improved range of motion and decreased discomfort associated with pain
● Improving posture
● Relaxation of injured and overused muscles
● Reduced muscle spasms and cramping
● Increased joint flexibility
● Help recover from strenuous workouts
● Pain relief from headaches and migraines
● Reduce post-operative adhesions and edema, as well as reduced scar tissue
● Digestive disorders
● Soft tissue strains and injuries
● Repetitive strain injuries

What to expect at your massage:
At your first visit you will be required to fill out a Health History Form. After completing the forms, we will go over them to establish which areas you would like worked on and any conditions you would like addressed.
This will help us come up with a massage tailored to you.

Do I have to be completely undressed?
You should undress to your level of comfort. Some clients prefer to be completely undressed, while others prefer to keep their undergarments on. You will undress and dress in the privacy of your massage room.
You will be securely covered by a blanket and a sheet during your massage session.

Do I have to cover myself with a sheet or towel?
Yes! You will be properly draped at all times.
Only the area being worked on will be exposed. No areas will be exposed or worked on without your consent.
