Tracy started his studies of healing at the Bio-Balance Institute with Michael Andron in 1980- initially with Taijiquan (Tai Chi) and Qigong and then later studying acupressure and acupuncture until 1985.
He went on to study and graduate from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now the Maryland University of Integrative Health) in 1990. He has since done post-graduate studies in Chinese herbology, as well as Tui Na (Chinese massage), Qigong Therapy, Chinese dietary therapy, Essential oils and the study of the Medical Classics. He has studied Chinese medicine with 88th Generation Yu Qing Pai Daoist Priest, Jeffrey Yuen, since 2000 and has taught at Daoist Traditions- College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville since 2003.
Tracy has had a life long interest in the philosophy and Wisdom teachings of ancient cultures, especially Daoism (Taoism). He started Hatha Yoga and meditation studies when he was 15 years old and then was introduced to the teachings of the Daoist arts which he had a strong affinity for.
Tracy has studied several Taijiquan (Tai Chi), Qigong and meditation styles, as well as Chinese Gong Fu (Kung Fu).
Since 2003 Tracy has studied with Daoist Priest, Yun Xiang Tseng and has become a 26th Generation Initiate in the Longmen Pai 龍 門 派 (Dragon Gate Tradition) of Daosim (Taoism) and a 15th Generation Initiate in the San Feng Pai Branch 三丰 派 of Daoism from Wudang Mountain. His Daoist name is Chong Qing 崇 清.
In these Daoist traditions he has studied Internal Alchemy, Ceremonial Arts, Nourishing Life practices (Qigong, Taijiquan (Tai Chi) and Daoyin) and Healing (Qi Healing, Tui Na, Herbs and Tailismans), as well as, the philosophy and application of Daoist principles for living a fuller life.
He is also the senior student, 大 徒 弟 of Qigong Master Yong Zhou and has been his teaching assistant since 1995.
